These serve as part of the inspiration for my paintings. The tangles and seeming chaos of nature help me express the patterns for the abstract movement in my paintings. I try to get my camera up or around or in as close as I can to replicate the abstract feeling and render it almost unrecognizable. Sometimes you have to get down in it, to get it. I do encourage losing yourself in the piece and allow your eyes to relax and take in the way your brain can create new shapes and blur and focus deeper.
